Event Description:
HOPE Calloway’s biggest community awareness and fundraiser event of the year is called “A Night on the Town.” A Night on the Town is an event that provides a powerful opportunity for our community to learn about homelessness, raise awareness for our friends without an address, and experience a bit of what it might be like to to live and sleep outside. “Box Dwellers” commit to spending 5 hours outside in a cardboard box in Central Park. Box Dwellers come from all walks of life: local government leaders, police officers, pastors, business leaders, students, grandmas and grandpas, moms and dads. Each box dweller is given a fundraising challenge to help HOPE Calloway continue doing all we do to help our community throughout the year.
