Introduction to Cables

We're pleased to have Jan Newsome debut as a guest instructor! She will take you through your first cable project, and as she says, "Cables look hard but they're not!" The project is shown above--a headband, knit flat and seamed to finish. Jan used Encore Worsted Tweed, but any worsted weight yarn will work.

Time: 10 -noon

Cost: $35 plus materials (pattern provided)

Materials: One skein of worsted weight yarn, size 7 or 8 needle (whatever needle is appropriate for the yarn you choose)

Skill level: Advanced beginner (you should be comfortable with the knit and purl stitch--this is NOT a beginning knit class)
